Dumb and Dumber

The secretary not only sent her letter to her boss, she sent it to many people in other cities. So of course it got resent all over. An overwheling response is to cheer for the secretary's bravado and condemn the CEO's tyranny.

I don't normally care about things like this, but this is simply too stupid. If you read the CEO's original note in English, you'll find it totally appropriate. Maybe he could have given it more thoughts and toned it down a little, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I have no idea why the secretary and her supporters would consider it rude. The only possible explanation is that their English is so poor that they entirely misunderstood and misinterpreted the note. That secretary is down right unprofessional with lousy work ethics.

The other laughable thing is, they blamed the whole thing on cultual differences. Right. When in doubt, blame it on something, and what is more convenient than cultural differences. This reminds me of the black people in America. Anything not going their way? Racial discrimination. That's their answer for every "injustice" they suffer. The world just owes them.

Gee, I am so politically incorrect. Shoot me.
